Keith Barnes, president and CEO, Proliant, Inc., Ames, IA, has retired. Mr. Barnes was with Proliant for 13 years and will remain with the organization in a consultant role.

Additionally, to create more focus throughout the Proliant organization the four divisions of Proliant will be separated into individual entities. As a result, four companies have been created and four individuals have been named president and CEO of their respective companies. Chris Snyder will head up Proliant Dairy Ingredients; Chai-Wei Chang will head up Proliant Meat Ingredients; Stephen Welch will head up Proliant Biologicals and Eric Weaver will head up Proliant Health Ingredients.
